I was searching for a always hot 12 volt power supply at the rear of my truck(in signature) and i came across two connectors on the inside of the left frame rail beside the spare tire. 1 has 2 wires and the other has 6 wires.
I tried to post a pic but apparently i am not set up for that. Anyone have any ideas as to what these are for? My truck came with the rear camera and parking sensors so those are out.
The one with two wires is probably for a high mounted stop light, on a cap for example. I can't say on the 6 wire connector. Maybe for a plug if you got the 5th wheel prep? But that would be 7 wires, right? Just guessing.
