First time she's been on a gooseneck. Hauled the loader and a few loads of straw bales.

Moving some imported cars. Only about 7,500 on the trailer. Didn't even inflate the airbags

Thanks!! Did very well for being a gas although I've never drove a diesel truck but I felt it pulled better than some v10's I've drove. It has 3.73 gears

Any chance you live in central Iowa? I would love to compare the 6.2 to my 3V V10 towing the same load. Sharp looking truck and I'm sort of envious of the four-door cab now that I have three kids.

A big round Haybale is usually between 1200-1700lbs, straw bales would probably be in the 1000-1300lbs range.

Not central Iowa but south central Wisconsin not far from Madison. I'd be curious to see how you think the 6.2 does compared to the v10. Thanks and yes there's lots more room although not as easy to back up to a gooseneck without being able to see the ball.

Bummer but also kind of amusing as I live in Madison County, HA!

I wouldn't hold your breath for my opinion of the 6.2 pulling a load of hay, once I tell them what the trailer weighs anyone I've asked (I love asking the Dodge Cummins guys after they bragged about how much they can pull) to try the load with their truck loses interest almost immediately. And a newer tuck isn't a very high priority at the moment.

Edit. I'm usually around and generally over 22,500lbs trailer weight with hay.

Not to much of a workout for the ol' girl but hey...she was working...I think...

Mother-in-Law's car broke down in the middle of nowhere, so who gets to go retrieve it? Why the loyal son-in-law of course.

she worked a little today I picked up this van 3/4 chevy express it lost all forward gears thats why I had to back it up on trailer. My truck only has a 2v 5.4 in her but she didn't mind as it was only about 5 miles before van was taken off her back lol
