I'm looking to replace my stock seats and the center console. I'd like bucket seats with a deep center console that mounts to the floor and has better cup holders.
I've searched the Internet using Google, etc., but can't seem to find what I'm looking for.
I'm wondering if any of you forumites have a suggestion. I live in the Dallas/Forth Worth area and would be willing to drive to a brick-and-mortar store if necessary.
Having on heck of a time finding seats for my ranger. They re shot and smell like a ashtray bomb went off. I just got this truck for a killer deal for hunting and fishing. No rust great motor so could not pass up. 2weeks in and I love this Ranger. So, cam anyone supply me with a list so seats I can use to put in my truck? 1999 standard cab, 4 cyl manual. Currently has 60/40 seats. I will replace with buckets or split but I have searched 5 different salvage yards and didnt find an exact match. Any thoughts or suggestions? I have never modified brackets but am willing to learn if need be.
Thanks for your reply Hank. I think I would rather get rid of the seats all together. The left side of the driver seat is shot, lumbar springs are poking out back and of course, the lovely smoke smell. I would like to see if anyone has come up with a list that has seats from other years/model of Ford that would be interchangeable, even with modifications.
did you look at the section where they have an interchangeability list? Down towards the bottom of the page.
Most any explorer or ranger after 98 should fit as that is when I think they changed the floor pan. go to lmc trucks and look up the year you have and see what parts are interchangeable. It appear that the carpets for the ranger changed in 98 so look to see
if stuff from an explorer is available from a wreck yard. Like I said mine are from an 01 and the rails and all fit. I have manual adjust rails from my old seat available!
