Okay. I have learned two things today. One, make sure you check the right sensor and two, if the rubber hose is plugged, the map sensor cannot function. Guess I better decimeter my engine.
When I went to pull the plug from the map sensor, I thought wouldn't it be nice if this hose was just plugged. So I decided to pull it and blow in the hose. It was completely plugged at the barb on the intake. I removed the bard and it was plugged under the barb too. I cleaned out the barb and port. Put it all back together and presto. It runs perfect. I can't believe it was that simple. Guess now I need to learn how to de coke my engine. It was a slimy black crud in it. I took a picture but I can't get it to load.
I can't thank you enough for your Invaluable knowledge or time. Thank you again.
Im having these same exact codes come up, I just replaced my FICM yesterday and these never were around before, but now all of a sudden, here they are. I guess I can have a look at my MAP sensor?
I was thinking that maybe I need the TSB update, but information cant transfer from an old FICM to the current PCM? Can it? The FICM came out of a 07 F250. Thoughts?
