Sticking brakes or engine problems (5.4)?
Hey guys, I looked at an 08 E350 box truck yesterday that the owner claims has a sticking brake issue. Apparently, while driving, the brakes go on by themselves and he puts his foot under the pedal to pull it back up. On my test drive, I did not really notice this, but the engine seems to have a miss or hesitation. So, is there anything that could be wrong with the 2 valve, 5.4 or maybe the transmission that could seem like the brakes are sticking? It has 80,000 miles on it and I think it has the torqshift. The owner took it to his repair guy for the brakes, so I will see what he says, but I wanted the opinion of the true pros (FTE). Thanks.
