Radio problem?

My radio hasnt worked since I got my truck, but the tape player has. So I figured that the radio was junk (mostly because someone dumped a beer down my dash. So today while I was scrapping some crap, I picked up a junkyard radio thats from the same year of truck. (old one was an '88), but this one wont work either. It lights up when I have the lights on, but nothing comes up on the display, like the old one. the fuse under the dash looks ok, but I cant figure out what else it could be. Could someone help me please?

I had exactly the same problem, only with a 95 F250. My problem was fixed by finding the bad fuse in the power box under the hood. Who would have guessed there were two fuses? I am almost certain that 88 and 95 are very different in this respect, but if mine has two fuses yours might also.
