so ,i disconnected the wight wire off the controler, ran a new wire from that smaller post to a momentary switch in the cab, then a ground wire from the other side of the switch to a good ground -------nothing
no power to the plugs and all those zd9's are good.
and when i put atest light to the small post. the light comes on says it has constant power --wtf 1990 7.3
tommoro is an other day, just gets to dark to soon, i think i'm going to try giveing power to the plugs, instead of grounding the white wire post
maybe some one will have the ans.
Try testing it right there at the battery/solenoid. Take a ground wire and touch it to the solenoid enable post and make sure you hear a click. If so, then just make sure you wire your switch between ground and that post.
I'm not familiar with your year, because, like Luke, mine is activated off 12 V.
ok, so here is what i did ..
took the selnoid off put on one i had from junkyd
went back to removing the white wire , re ran wire to moment swtch
