Would the Rancho RS9000 adjustable shocks make a noticable difference in the ride of my 2006 F250 4x4?
I know these are heavy duty trucks and they are supposed to ride a little rough, but Im just looking to improve the ride a bit around town when Im not towing or working the truck at our farm.
I am about to crawl under mine and bump the setting up one # ....
Started @ 4 and they were firm,
tried them @ 1 for the next few months and while I like them, they are almost too soft
I have the Rancho adjustables, and love them. In addition to this, make sure your air pressures are adjusted for the load. For example, my tires are the stock 'E' rated units and I run 55 in front, and 45 in rear when unloaded. The tires wear evenly at this pressure, and ride much better.
When I put a lot of weight in the bed, or pull a heavy trailer (or both) I crank up the rancho shocks, and bump up the tire pressure accordingly.
