Another No start at hot ??

Hi,

I am a newbe of the 6.0 PSD. I got my one two months ago. It was a 2006 E350 cargo van with 120k mile. The first time no start occured at 6 weeks ago. When I stopped by the traffic light, it suddenly shutted down and no start with cranks. My mechanic could not find the root cause but the van started one day later. Then I put the new fuel filter & change the engine oil & filter. It was running good one week then it no start again with cranks after I delivered the package to customer. I am a courier running around 90 mile a day. And then it re-start again after one hour sitting down. After one month, the same no start happen todays and it also restarted after sitting down 3hours. I have try to upplug the ICP but no help. And I had a trip to Chetynd for deliver around 1500 mile in this period but nothing occurred when I stop in Gas station.

It maybe caused by the STC according many post in FTE. My query is that my van no start happened between a month. What is the frequency of no strat occured if it caused by STC issue. Or I should check the IPR firstly ?

Please give me some reccommendation.

Thanks

Walter

Classic symptoms of a leak in the high pressure oil system. Likely to be the STC fitting, but there are other places it could be. You need to get into some more detailed troubleshooting to pinpoint the issue (like applying shop air to the high pressure oil system and listening for the leak).
