I do have a Xplan pin but thought I could better with haggling.

You might be able to -- for me it wasn't worth it. X plan is easy peasy.

2010 prices

Using my Xplan and Rebates I got 10K off on my 2010 Fx2. Xplan rebates really depend on the truck and the options the truck has. but 10K off MSRP with options was not a bad price point. here in my area I have seen the F150 move in large numbers and given I had to a east coast search to find I was seeing them moving rapidly.

X-plan is a selling price, not a rebate -- might be semantics but it can get a bit confusing.

X-Plan is ROUGHLY 91% of MSRP. My Platinum MSRP was 51,300 and X-Plan was 46,500ish. My state taxes rebates - yours may not.

Subtract the 6,500 in rebates and you get right around 40k for a 51.3k platinum. Roughly 22% off MSRP.

Take that down to a 44k Lariat - X-plan would be about 40k, -6500 in rebates and you're paying 33,500 for a 44k truck, or almost 25% off of MSRP.

Take it even further down to an XLT and you could be looking at close to 30% off MSRP.

Anyway, on pricing I think ~90% MSRP - rebates is a good deal right now. X-plan also limits dealer fee's so even if you negotiate a few bucks lower than X-Plan, a doc fee could bring you back up.

What I posted earlier is accurate:

$2000 Retail Customer Cash 2
AND
$1000 Ford Credit Retail Bonus Customer Cash 3
AND
$1000 XLT Retail Bonus Customer Cash 4
AND
$1500 Year End Sales Event Promotional Retail Bonus Customer Cash 5
</sup>
The commercial with Mike Rowe is adding in the chrome and tow rebate of another $2000 but that is usually listed on the sticker.

Does anyone know what the Ford Credit rates are?

2 wks ago we bought a '10 Lariet SC with 6.5' box. Upgrades are sunroof, sound system and navigation sync and the platinum white color. Sticker was 50K, picked it up for 39K. That also includes the X-plan I receive from work and rebates. Didn't think it was too bad of a deal. Very nice truck and oh it also has the chrome pkg. and 20" chrome wheels.

Picking up the Jason topper tomorrow and bed rug. Woo Hoo

50,000 * .91 = 45,500 - 6500 rebate = 39,000

Expensive Lariat though, why not platinum?

If they take an x-plan, you get any available rebates also. I picked up an XLT diesel F250 in May for 30,885. MSRP was 51,710. That was using an x-plan, with many different rebates.

I know that part, but what more equipment does it have?? I remember pricing them out on the Ford site, but I don't recall the equip. differences. I'll have to look.
