Windshield wipers comes on by itself
I have a 1999 F-150 XLT and while driving the wipers just start for few seconds and then go off. It happens every now and then, at first I notice it when turning but I can be driving on a straight away and it does it. Any know problems concerning this? I love my Truck, I brought it used six years ago never owned a truck before. Any suggestion to what might be causing this?

my '99 F150 does it also. sometimes months between the phantom cycling. I just put up with it - not worth the hassle to replace the switch.
yeah - I know - one of these days it'll quit.... I'll deal with it then.

Thanks Joe and Fox for the reply @Avator I have been putting up with it for awhile and you are right, sometimes nothing happens for months.
