The best news I have heard all day!! Thanks David!!
Thanks for the news Roland and David, Still praying for His recovery and to get back in here with Us. Phyllis, saying a prayer for You as well. Keep Your strength up and take it easy.
Thanks for updating everyone, David. I spoke with Phyllis on the way home from work. I had been thinking of and talking about Rick and Phyllis all day. It is really great news to hear he is doing well. He should be home by the end of the week. Phyllis will be taking his phone to him so he can call when he can.
I hate to say this, but we need to show our brother, Rick, some tough love. He needs to take it easy, follow doctors orders, and change his life style. Rick is much loved by all his friends and family here. We want to keep him around for a good long time. We will nag him 'til he starts "acting right" 'cause that what family does. Get well soon.
[quote=Stewart_H;9563545]How long ago was it they put that stent in?
I'm not sure even though Phillis told me. I think it was 8 months ago but don't hold me to it. I was just happy to hear he was doing okay!!
Thanks for the update David and Roland. Your right guys, all those stents means some serious lifestyle changes. Rick might have to drop those pony size Miller Lites for pony size V-8's. I'll bring a case or two next RRE.. Glad to hear Rick's doing better, get well bud..
And needing three or four more means he REALLY needs to make some changes in his diet and lifestyle. Roland is right, tough love is needed.

That stent was "replaced" in in June of this year. Phyllis told me she was surprised they didn't opt to do a bypass instead. I will have a talk with him when we go to visit them soon.
