new 5.0
fords introducing a new modular crate 5.0L v-8. its based on the 4.6L cobra engine bored to 5.0L. est. hp is 425-430@6700rpm and 370lb-ft@4000 rpm. sounds like a screamer. got this outta the new Petersons 4-wheel and off road.

Is that the overheader cammer they're debutting all ove rthe US this year in two beautifully customized 1953 F100s?

The trucks and to a lesser degree , the engine was covered in a recent Classic Trucks or Custom Classic Trucks issue.

Beautiful trucks. Too bad they didn't do this number on the 351W...

Yow! That hp comes pretty high though....I'd like to see that in the cobra instead of the s/c motor.
