i'm swapping a 302HO out of an 86 Lincoln Mark VII into my 82 F100... i have the EEC and wiring harness from the car.. does anyone have a wiring diagram for the Mark VII?
You might also try searching for a Mustang 86-88 diagram. They are basically the same except for the alternator since the Mustang used a internally regulated 2G alt. I used to have a 90 Mark VII service manual but I can't seem to find it.
i have the mustang diagram.. the wire colors are the same? reason why i'm asking is i can only find 1 O2 sensor connector on the engine harness..plus another connector that i can't figure out..i know these had 2 O2 sensors.. and I'm 100% sure it's an HO..
i found the other O2 sensor plug.. i guess it helps to pull the engine out of the little hole i had it stuck in, in my garage..now if i can only figure out what the other little plug goes to.. i'm thinking it might go to the cruise control..if so.. i don't need it.. the F100 doesn't have cruise..i'm going to go back to the boneyard where i got the engine and have another look at the car.. i want to make sure i've got everything I need.. hopefully since it has no motor, it's engine bay will be left alone..
the mustang diagram looks like it's similar to the Mark VII.. i'm going to work off of it, also found a ton of good info on fordfuelinjection.com
after i got everything i need, then comes the fun part.. installing it all and makin' it work...i can't wait to hear this baby run..
