disabling sucurilock system (how to)
Does anyone know how to disable the securilock system?
I only have one key and I don't need the system. A friend of
mine paid $200 to have his disabled after a tow-in, and a
bill for trobleshooting his "won't crank" problem, which would
have cost more than that to repair. Any help will be appreciated.

I would like to know how they disabled it too. As far as I know the PCM and the instrument cluster have to "talk" to each other or it wont start and I thought that couldn't be disabled.

I am guessing that your securlock system is the same as mine, I have a 1993 clubwagon.
As you may or maynot know the door lock activates/deactivates the security system, lock the door the system is active, unlock the door the system is deactivated.
My security system was going off when ever it felt like, driving the locals crazy, I first just left the door key in the unlock position , which stopped the security system from going off no matter what.
I later, took the door apart and ran a bypass at the lock switch so that the security system was permanently disabled.
