I did the full hanger flip on my 68 f100 and now my rear driveshaft won't fit. I used the 2 existing holes (1 top and 1 bottom) and drilled the other 2. Does the driveshaft have to be shorten after doing this flip or did I do something wrong. I haven't installed the shims yet but I'm ordering them from summit racing. Thanks in advance for any help.
shouldn't you have enough room with the driveshaft to install and uninstall it without unbolting the axle? for the movement of the driveshaft sliding in and out over bumps and such?
