horsepower
Any ideas of how much horsepower my 352 in my 1966 f100 might have

352 4 barrel was rated at 250 hp @ 4400 and 352 ft/lbs @ 2800. That was with a 9.3 to 1 compression ratio.

Why does that not seem like alot of h.p. coming out of a big block very puzzling to me

It is a very little big block at 352 CID.

Yeah I guess u r write but I would have thought that it would have more horses then that

There were only 2 352 engine with more horsepower than that engine.

1958-60 352 4 barrel, 300 hp @ 4000 & 380 ft/lbs @ 2800 with 10.2 to 1 compression

and

the 1960 352 H.P. 4 barrel, 360 hp@ 6000 & 380 ft/lbs @ 3400 with 10.6 to 1 compression and a mechanic cam.

Did your truck originally come with a 352? Then it wasn't one of those engines as they were available only in 1958, 1959 and 1960. These engines were only available in cars also.

Are you sure, because the 1966 trucks came from the factory with 352 engines?
