ya i gut allot out also, still gotta push it under the fener lip a little

hey homesteader you paint your intercooler tube or just strip the stuff of it? looks good. i got the foil off mine but yet need to get that adhesive off it then decide what i wanna do to it.

I used the wire wheel a little .I also used brake kleen.

im thinking about rubbing it down with diesel as that takes tar and bugs off cars good.. and then maybe lighting it on fire for a little while too.

That will give it a nice flame job. Clean the heavy stuff with brake kleen,then it will be easier since all that thick junk is off of it.Good luck let us know how it goes.

Paint stripper will make this job a breeze. Under the foil will be the most clean and shiny section of the tube since it's been protected all this time. Wire wheels and such will obviously dull it out. You can buff them out to be pretty darn shiny and pretty, but it takes alot of effort.

I cut mine out like that. I used a saw and a rasp to clean it up.
