I plan on buying my papa's '86 F-250. When I shift it, sometimes it won't go into that gear and I have to shake the shifter up and down a little on the column for it to shift in that gear. Could it be the bushings? If so, can I buy them from a parts store?

I see you have an 86 F250 with some kind of lever on the column, but... are you talking
about a 3-on-the-tree manual transmission shifter or an automatic transmission shifter?
Hey, another thing, fill out the rest of your profile so people can see where you're located.
Its an automatic. It does it whenever I shift the tranny. Like if I have the indicator on D, it won't be in that gear. N and P I don't have that issue. If I try to go into 1, it gets real stiff and I have to kinda kjerk it down a little for to catch.
