Vacuum Line problem!
Hey there.. There's a 3 way line that goes from my egr/pvs valve. There's a line about 2 inches from the valve,and then there's a 3 way. One line goes to my egr valve on right side of the carburetor. Then the other line on the 3 way goes to the egr port on the left side of the carburetor! In the Chilton book it shows there is suppose to be a vacuum check vale there! Does that valve have to be there? Cause I just have a line running there right now,and if I turn my truck off after it's been running for a little bit,and let it sit for a few minutes,and then try to start it,it starts then dies and when it does stat it backfires and dies. But if I take the line off from the egr port and let it hang it runs just fine! So I was wondering if I need that vacuum check valve there to run it properly!
