Ok guys bumping this thread due to my never ending lust for my own truck hahaha in a couple more months I plan on selling my 1979 Trans Am to buy a 53-56 F100. Just wondering where most of you found your trucks or where you suggest I go. As of right now I plan on trying to find a good base for under $1500, thinking about an 03-07 Crown Vic to use for front and rear suspension plus whatever else i can salvage, and possibly putting a 302/AOD in it. All positive and negative inputs are welcomed! -Mike

Welcome to FTE, I found my truck on Kijiji Canada's version of CL. also try cruising around farm country those guys will fill the back 40 with every vehicle they ever owned. LOL. I guess it depends on how far you are willing to travel. Good luck and there is tons of info on this site.

This one is different. Guy says it can't get out of the garage until after the snow is gone.

If you are interested in a 56 f100 shortbed frame....and then get the sheetmetal and cab and drivetrain ,maybe I can help. Look in my gallery and look at the turquoise frame.
Bill
The truck is between CLEVELAND,OHIO and ERIE,PA. not too far from you.

Alright everyone, I have officially started phase one of acquiring a truck! I put my Trans Am up on craigslist and I will be home from school in one week. Hopefully within the next couple weeks I can get my car sold and find a decent 53-55 f100.
