Would you??

I'm going to be pulling the VC's to put in new glow plugs. Would you replace the uvc gaskets as a preventive measure? Mine have been there for 60-70K or so. Does the wiring get 'old'. Are the newer ones 'tougher'? Where is the best place to get new ones nowadays? Thanks

PS, where is a good place to buy and what brand of glow plugs?

Beru/motorcraft Zd11's.
You can pick them up from Clay at RiffRaff

if the UVCH's and the UVC are good, don't bother, nothing but wiring to go bad with them.

Not to take any business from Clay, but if you need them ASAP, O'rielly auto parts sells the Beru plugs (if there is a location near you) for about $12.00 a piece IIRC.

Again, if you can, get them from Clay. Just thought I would through that out there,

What's the difference between the zd10s and zd11s? And can we use either?

There isn't a ZD10, it was probably a superseded part number. Number Dummy could probably give you the history on it.

yep, about $100-110 for the ZD-11's from O-reilly's. All autoparts stores will attempt to sell you the Autolite plugs, but DO NOT buy them.
