Two Speed Transfer Case
I currently have the original single speed, Dana 20 transfer case. I would like to swap with a two speed. Will one from a early Bronco work? I also found a mid '70s F-150 with a Dana 21. No handle on it. Is this a two speed?

You have a Dana 21 single speed case already. The Bronco unit is a D20. I thinik that you can use it, but search the site for specifics. All of the transfer cases have shifter levers unless you are talking about the newer electrical **** type shifted cases in newer vehicles. Are you talking about the divorced D24 case used in F-250's or the divorced or married NP-205 cases? You could get a married NP-205 case from a later 70's F150 or 250.

Yup. My single speed t-case is a D21 married to a NP435. Are all D21's single speed? I found a two speed D20 from an early Bronco. The case is shaped a little different. So the D20 would be a direct swap in?

All D21s are single speed, and as far as I have seen the D20 is the only other case that Ford used that had the same input splines. It's not the modern standard 31splines, it's something like 16 or 19. I have a D20 mounted on an NP out back, I'll have to pull it off and take some pics.
The driveshafts will still be different since the D20 has a reduction box.
