Meyer E-47 Plow - too tight!
Redid all the seals on the lift, was so loose I could pull it up easily by myself. Now, too tight, can't lift or rotate the shaft. I put oil on the seals. Wondering if the 1 1/2" below the top guideline means that the inner shaft area also gets oil in it? I guess I don't understand what makes the pressure. The pump motor runs but, no lift. Now, dont laugh, but, I'm probably overthinking it, but when I poured the fluid in, I didnt get any in the inner shaft tube and there wasn't any below in the small reservior either. I figured with new seals it'd have to be tight...but....

Plow problems
Troubleshooting documentation indicates you 'should be able to turn the shaft with 2 fingers'...that seems pretty loose. When I replaced the large seal at the bottom of the main shaft, the new one is tight-do I need to pour fluid into the shaft tube and drench it with oil?
