Old Style Ball Joints
We have a 1999 F250 2wd Super Duty with cast I Beams
Approx 10 - 12 months ago when we ordered the upper and lower ball joints from our local Ford parts department, we noticed a much different quality ball joint. The old ball joints we are looking for are a much stronger solid looking part. Any ideas where we could find the old pieces?
The only stamping I could find was Fo Mo Co 0

Try NAPA Premium parts. Napa regular or standard grade parts compare to Autozone, Parts Plus, etc..
True enough on the lower life span of the nylon lined joints. I installed a set of uppers/lowers on my 1999 F150, and had a lower separate completely, 18 months later ( at 70 mph ).
