Pulline Engine/Trans Request Advice

1956 W/272/Auto - I am closing in on my engine pull and have a couple questions before I proceed.

I'm pulling the engine and trans as a unit and assume this is standard/OK?<O</O
</O
Where do I attach the chains to the engine? Intake <O</O
Manifold/Exhaust/Accessory mounting?<O</O
<O</O

If anyone has any pointers, I will appreciate it! Thanks!<O</O

Yep its usual practice to pull both motor and trans at the same time.
I have pulled motors by using a chain attached to the head using a
bolt on the exhaust manifold. But I installed a 351w and c6 trans in my 53
by using a lifting plate bolted right to the carb mounting base on the intake manifold. I sure was worried the first time I did it but it works great.<O</O

Take the exhaust manifolds off first then bolt up the chains. Cast manifolds will shatter if you put any force on them.
