Gathering the extended family together to partake in wild roasted turkey with oyster stuffing, whipped potatoes and giblet gravy, medley of yams/squashes, sauteed french green beans, fruit salad, pumpkin pies made from scratch, variety of white and red wines... and beginning the dinner festivities with the traditional serving of "Tom and Jerrys".

During this culinary foray I will be adorned in my white chef's coat as I scurry around tending to the preparation of the feast... but finding time to enjoy the bouquet of a full bodied red.

Other than that... not really doing much.

Turkey day is getting close, lets share some stories or lies...

One thing I really enjoy is making homemade cranberry sauce. On the morning of Thanksgiving we have a traditional skan-da-hovian breakfast called Panakaku. This is an oven custard pancake made of just milk, eggs, flour and some salt. It puffs up and falls flat when serving (about an inch thick). Topped with butter, powder sugar and whipped cream mixed with some cranberry sauce.

Priceless...
