A weird electronics (?) problem
A problem has arisen with our '07 Escape. The alarm / flashing lights has begun going off periodically for no reason. Perhaps a dozen times or so in the last week. No obvious cause, no wind, no people around, no loud noises of rumbling of large vehicles. Middle of the night last night, most recently.
And that was AFTER taking the Escape to the dealership to have the problem diagnosed. Naturally they said they couldn't reproduce it, so did nothing. It just won't do to have the alarm honking in the middle of the night, nor is it good for the battery for the lights to flash all day after the audible honking stops.
Any suggestions?
