Adios Everyone...

Unfortunately, my truck was stolen from my driveway a few weeks ago. The thieves hit the 'jackpot' on me as I had that truck running like a top AND I had alot of valuable contents inside the truck that night. I learned alot from this forum and received alot of great information from various folks on here. I'm hesitant to purchase anything in the future that is 'in demand' on the black market...so I don't think I can bring myself to spend the money & energy on improving another 6.0...so, sooo long everyone and happy trails to all.

Man, I hate freakin thieves. I looked up your profile and saw you were in Texas. That really sucks because that means there is a good chance that thing will be heading to a different country, mainly Mexico or the Middle East.

I was listening to Walton and Johnson this morning and they had a report on that said drug cartels prefer to use ford trucks 5 to 1 to other brands. Don't know where they got that from, they might have just pulled it out of their third point of contact.

Also my last tour in Iraq we kept coming across American trucks and SUV's that had Texas plates still on them. We had a guy from Texas who had a buddy with the Texas State Troopers so we started copying plate and VIN numbers and he was confirming that they were stolen from the US.

Imagine getting that call!!! Sir, we found your truck in the Dorah Market in Baghdad, Iraq.

Most likely if they encounter the police, they know it is probably tuned and by running it really hard, the damn thing will catch fire and burn the evidence......they walk away clean

My truck was stolen 8-12-10. Insurance paid but not enough to get back where I was. I have bought another truck and I am in the process of making it mine. but the $$$ are running out. Will take another year to get the truck set up the way I want. Thieves should have their hands cut off one joint at a time (slowly)!!!!
