1996 Ford Ranger
I am getting ready to buy a 1996 Ford Ranger with a 2.3 4-cylinder engine and a 5-speed transmission. It has manual steering on it right now and I was wanting to see if I buy the parts if I could change it over to power steering??

You should be able to get good junk yard parts to upgrade your steering. Your engine will already have a bracket for the ps pump. You will need to get the pump with pulley, ps lines and a new steering gear box from the junk yard. Less than 10% of 96 Rangers were non power steering, so you should be able to find parts. The junk yard will tell you which years match.
