I also have a few of the covers. I've had quite a few of them and have never noticed a difference in them. Can anyone help us out on what is different about em?
Received my coverplate from an eBay seller today! Bit scratched, but like I said modifications needed.
As the lefthand drive F100's columns are slightly angled to the left, mine trucks's column is angled to the right (converted righthand drive: New Zealand). What I'd like to do is fill in the left side of the cover. BUT I can ascertain whether the cover is aluminium or cat steel. Can anyone confirm what it's made out of?
I haven't seen any aluminum ones, so Im gonna guess steel.
These covers our made out of zinc, same type of stuff most all carburetors were once make out of.. Some people call it pot metal, yet others call cast iron pot metal.
