So last night, my chick and I are on our way home from the zoo/park downtown. We're having a conversation, I'm the right hand lane and out of nowhere I hear: KA-POW!!!!
I look to the right and see the pic below....
It turns out that the City of Houston deemed it necessary to put light poles as close to the road as they could. As a direct result, I now need a passenger trailer tow mirror
I bought my son some new ones last year for Christmas, his did not work well, I don't remember if the passenger side worked or not, but if I remember the plastic and everything was OK. I will check when I get off work, your welcome to it for $25.00, that ought to cover transportation and what not.

Mine are the 2003-2007 trailer tow mirrors with power, heat, clearance lights, and turn signal. I prefer those since I already have one and cash is a little tight right now.
Btw, bubbasz1, I know beggars can't be choosers, but which ones are the ones you're referring to?

Does anyone have one laying around?
Or upgraded to the 08-11 mirrors?
Or know where I can get them at a decent price?
How did you manage to hit a light with all the billboards in the way?
I think I'd be sending the repair bill to the city....there's GOTTA be a mininum distance from the roadway that the poles must meet. Either the city or electric company.
