You can also just force the stock hose over the end of the filter. You will need to remove the first half of it so that you can push it over the end of the filter...it's pretty tight. You may also need to trim a little bit of the rubber tabs off, and the hose clamp will need to be completely removed and then replaced after the hose is on the filter.
I also sanded the end of the filter inlet, just to provide the hose with a better gripping surface. I'm happy with how it worked for me...just another option if you don't feel like sourcing a piece of 4" exhaust tubing.

I wouldn't trust that Benjamin. We've seen too many people try it and after several miles with some bumps along the way, many discovered the filter had come out of the hose.
Thanks for the input Chris and Joe, I was under the impression that this was an acceptable method of attachment, but I wasn't aware that other people had had problems with it. I will just go ahead and order some exhaust tubing to do it the "normal" way. I really would rather NOT have to deal with my turbo sucking in unfiltered air haha.
Find an exhaust shop that works on big trucks all the time. Ask them to sell you a 4" piece of 4" pipe. Tell them what you're doing with it and they'll probably just give you a little scrap piece they have laying around or just cut you a 6" piece for next to nothing.

That's a good idea Chris, there are probably 4 performance truck shops just in the Auburn area, I shouldn't have any trouble finding one that will help me out.
