so i went in the hills last week and my headlight went out after hitting some bug bumps (a lil to fast) and i broke the plastic piece that is on hte screw that hold the light in the same plce. so i got a new bulb cuz the one that went out had a filament broke and i super glued the plactic piece back together but i went and played in the mud today and the light went out agian and i borke my super glue job cuz i got frusterated and hit it but the light could it be electrical? when i put the new bulb in it worked fine though
ya perty much im gonna take it apart tomorow and see if it will work again and ill see but ya the first time it went out i went over some rocks then bout two more miles i sterted goin over some more and it poppee=d back on
Definitely sounds like a loose plug then, but I am not sure how it can be fixed - maybe you can buy a replacement plug at your local parts store, and then cut the old one off and attach the new one in its place?
i opened the hood and the plug had come off and the bulb didnt work even though it was brand new so i went and got sylvania ultras hehe now i have bright lights
If you haven't done it yet, most parts stores carry a replacement plug for the head lights. Just cut the old one off and splice the new on. shouldn't take long at all...
I love my Silverstars! Had a set one every vehicle i've owned, except my Sentra, which had Silverstar 2's
