Sct dashscan vs. Scanguage 2

Has anyone used a Sct dashscan? Its about $100.00 and I kinda like the way it looks over the scanguage 2. But it seems everyone uses the scanguage 2. it seems that they both do the same things nearly nothing different. Any reason not to get the dashscan over the scangauge 2?
Thanks in advance.

The scangauge2 will read the Engine Oil Temp & Trans Fluid Temp,
but you have to manually add them using the xgauge menu.

Check with the DashScan folks include these "non standard"
sensors - or give you a method to manually "add" them.

It is also model year & model dependant as to which sensors are
on the ODBII (my '05 Ex doesn't have turbo boost) but it's possible
other model years (or F-series) DO.

This is the line from their Xgauge manual which worked for my '05 Excursion.
There are 2 other TFT sensors listed in the Xgauge manual, maybe you picked one of those
by mistake?

Could also be your vehicle is different (for example, I don't know about '03 Ex or '07 F-series)

Thank you (rep given) I'll give them a shot. I've tried a few of them already so hopefully this one will work.
