Sterling Gears
Where do the shims go on a Sterling..... inside or outside the bearings.... basicly do i need to get a set of setup bearings? Yes or no.....
are they adjusted via a dial or not ?
how is the carrier shimmed?

Sterling Gears
The carrier shims go outside the bearings. They are not adjusted by (a dial). You will need an assortment of different thicknesses. The pinion shim goes between the pinion and the rear pinion bearing.
