heater core hookup

Does it matter which hose goes where on the heater core tubes (I have '90 F150 w/351).

I just reversed the hoses from what they were and I actually got hot air for the first time in 3 years. Just thought my truck was running too cool.

If reversing the hoses made a difference I'd suspect that you had something partially plugging the core and it flushed itself out when the water went the other direction.
Good that it was a simple fix
