Wont start after changing injectors! Please help!!!
Ok #2 injector went bad broke everything down changed the injector put everything back together without a problem.Cranked on the truck for a few seconds finally firing up, and ran like a sewing machine the best the truck has ever ran! cut it off after about 15 minutes of idling fine and hopped back in to take it for a spin and make sure everything was workin properly and it too it a while to crank again i figured this was due to air still in the system. Took it for a spin and it ran great come back home shut it off and now it wont fire at all, will spin over all day but no fire. spray a little carb cleaner in it and it will try to fire but thats it. im about to pull my hair out over this! PLEASE HELP!!!!
Fuel Pump. You've answered your own question. Try spraying a bit of starting fluid in it, and if it cranks at all its fuel pump. Bet its the fuel pump. Mine in my Ranger went out like that. Drove great the whole day after having months of issues with it cutting out, and smelling just awful. It ran great the whole week, and the day it was running super good like never before, pulled in my lower drive way, went for a walk with my girl, came back to drive off in it, and it wouldn't do nothing.
It could also be the fuel pump driver module. It is bolted to the crossmember above the spare tire. I have seen many corrode against the steel frame and actually split apart. The new one has updated bolts that lifts the module off the frame to prevent corrosion.
