Ignition replacement
They tried to steal my son's truck and messed up the ignition switch. Is this something I can fix? About how much for me to replace? How much for a shop to do it? How can I get it running to get it to repair shop?

If you are talking about the lock cylinder, then if you have the key you can r&r in less than 5 min just turn the key to run and push a pick or small punch up through the only hole under the key with out a screw in it and pull the assembly out. If you dont have a key then remove the plastic cover from underneath and drill out the pin that holds the switch in. If you are talking about the electronics, then it is a much more involved job, including removing the steering wheel and clock spring to get to it.
