Ok, first off let me vent at what a PITA this has been for me and I am attempting to take all of this as a learning experience, (which it has been). I have taken vc's off and changed o rings as well as a few injectors and everything ohm's out fine... I did a compression test as well and then buttoned everything back up. Went to fire it up and a "clunk" then nothing from the starter....I am freaking out that I hydrolocked the engine.
On the other hand I did do a compression test (400psi on all) so the cylinders should be clean, or am I missing something.... anyway the engine didn't even turn one revolution over when this happened....I am going to try and turn crank anyone got size of that nut on crank?
If this is the case, I have taken vc's and gp's out to turn it, would this relieve the lock, or am I totally screwed?
This truck only has 128k on it and I sure hate to know I toasted this thing.
I will attempt to check the starter also and fuses... everything in the cab powers up fine and no codes on the dashboard....also I have 2 hot batteries
I have put this thing together 2 times prior in the last week (working on a smoking issue) and it has turned over and cranked each time with no trouble
Whew!!!! Got the socket and bar and she turns over fine!!! I was worried to death needless to say...so I went through the no start from beginning and started looking at the starter connections.... the darn positive nut I took off with my fingers!!! I swear there are GREMLINS running around this neighborhood!! Turns over fine now. Now to button up and fire it up!!!
