I need to replace the armrests in my 65 custom cab F100. The interior color is medium blue crush vinyl & medium blue ladder pattern woven plastic. Does anybody know the paint code or color name for the blue armrest? I can't find armrests that are already blue. I also need to find a new blue floormat for the truck. The original one is pretty worn. Thanks for your help.
There are no reproductions of our original floor mats. If there were I would have already bought and installed the green one I need. For arm rests there are only a few colors reproduced. No green so I just use black in my truck. Don't recall if there is a blue or not. If there were white one could try to dye the vinyl to match if they have their heart set on blue.
Thanks for the reply. I've found the armrests in white, black and red. I'll probably paint or dye the white ones but it would be helpful if I knew the correct color blue. Too bad about the floormats, seems like there would be a market for new ones.
The armrests have been reproduced. The same ones were used in 1959/61 full sized Ford's (Custom/Fairlane/Galaxie) and in some 1960/63 Falcon/Comets.
Dearborn Classics (dearbornclassics.com) has interior spray paint, and the armrests in tan, black and red. Dearborn does not sell truck parts, so you will have to look at their paint chart to match up the blue.
1965/66 F100/250 2WD Custom Cab's came with a colored (Red, Blue, Green, Tan) floor mat that had black flecks in it.
No one reproduces any of these colored mats, none are available from Ford Dealers/obsolete parts vendors.

Ford offered accessory rubber floor mats for 1960/64 Galaxies in myriad different colors. The front mats are right/left and were installed to protect the carpet and will also fit 1961/66 trucks.
These mats were also available for the rear (right/left is the same). Both front and rear mats have the Ford coat of arms on them. On the blue mats, the coat of arms is white.
Up until recently, NOS front mats in red or black were selling on ebay for $750.00-1000.00! No, I'm not kidding. The mats hadn't been available since 1968, and everyone was looking for them.
Carpenter began reproducing these mats in 2008. I think the price is about $150.00 for a complete set of 4.
Thanks Bill, I'll check out Dearborn classics for the tan armrests and interior paint. Not quite sure what I'll do about the floormat yet.
One more question. Most of the finish on the intrument cluster bezel is worn off. I noticed Carpenter's has a reproduction bezel and the finish looks chrome-like. Was the original finish really that shiny and if so has anybody had any luck repainting one with a chrome paint?
1965/66 F100/250 2WD Custom Cabs came with a sweep speedometer. The instrument cluster (C5TZ10838A) is chromed plastic and has been reproduced, the price is about $150.00
If you have optional oil/amp gauges (standard equipment only on Camper Specials), the holes for these have to be drilled out.
I didn't pay much attention when I spotted those armrests, but they are identical to the ones we had on our 61 Galaxie years ago. I don't know if that style was ever use on our slicks, but it may have the same bolt pattern. I'm sure ND will know.
Like I noted in my second post, they are for a Galaxie or Fairlane, but may still fit correctly. I didn't pay much attention initially when they were advertised for an f100 as they are different.
