DP Tuner guys

Just made the switch from TW to the DP F5. I'm pretty happy with the tunes on the F5 and can't complain one bit just a quick question. Position 0 is no start, how do I put it in position 0?

Jody(owner of DP Tuner) is a great guy. Great customer service. My switch had a couple positions go bad and he swapped mine out for a brand new one just a couple days ago. Great item and great service.

I have the TW chip. What was the reason to switch from TW to DP?
What is the difference between the tunes?

Everyone has their own tuning style Jose. They all have their idea of how to make power and thats pretty much the difference.

Jody's setup is a bit more... Extravagant than the others, but its not quick enough for me personally. I'm a toggle and **** kinda guy.
not a buttons person.
Scan gauge drives me nuts actually.

Jody is good for tunes.
All 3 of the guys are. Just goes for personal preference now.
I believe that Jody has some of the best Stock truck tuning. And some of the better out of the box tuning.

But, I also believe, he's better with super duties than OBS's too.

Or in my case the best thing about DP is the lowest price I've found between them, PHP, and TW. But out of preference I'd rather have TW since he's in TX.

I switched for a few reasons. I liked my TW but just wanted to try the DP and I like the DP digital switch better than the ****. Also I had a hard time getting in touch with Tony to get it reburned, I know he's a busy person though so I'm not holding that against him, his tunes worked great in my truck.
My truck does make more boost with the DP though, I can hit 24psi where with the TW I was barely hittin 20.

Hey guys, getting ready to get a DP tuner...With the controller mounting there is a mount that sits flush in the dash?? Anyone have this or know any info as to where and how it mounts? Maybe a picture?

do you still have the TW?? I was considering trying some of tony's tunes to see how they worked on my truck, I have to say I think agree that Tony has some of the best tunes for stock/slight modified trucks, but I that am not as sure about the big mods,

as far as the 'no start' thing, Send me a PM and I will reply

Kris as far the mounting goes, the flush mount requires you to cut a hole in your dash and the piece clips into the hole to make the device mounts flush, I took a razor knife and cut a rectangle into the dash just large enough for the rear plug to clip into, so mine sits on the dash, I will try to take a pic to show you how it looks

I removed the directions to get out of No Start form the open forum.

DaveS
Hope you don't mind I directed PM's sent to your box instead of directions here in the open.

You guys, I think it's best not to post the instructions for getting into/out of no start on the forums. Why make it that much easier for thieves??? And even at that, the first instructions posted aren't correct...

Its on DP's web site, JMS in-dash switcher mount. I had one in my SD and plan on doing the same thing in my OBS.

I just installed a DP Tuner F8 chip, and love the difference so far.

60 economy
80 mountains
100 performance

The 80 mountains position remap of the auto transmission shift points makes a big difference in how well it does the two lane mountain roads here.
