1974 Highboy NP205 Ventilation
I have an NP205 divorced transfer case and was wondering how the vent tube was secured into the tail shaft. I bought the case out of a different truck and it did not have the vent tube attached, all thats there is a hole where it should be. So my question is, is there a part thats threaded into the tail shaft or is that just it a hole? if there are parts to be there what are they and where could I pick them up? Thx for all help.

There should be a nipple which has a rubber hose that slides over it right, above the rear shaft exit of the transfercase. I would imagine the nipple threads into the hole though. I dont think the part would be too special, so it should be available at A&G or somewhere like that.
