Rattles when started

My boyfriend tried to help and changed my oil. He used the motor oil for high mileage which was suggested by the auto parts clerk. The manual says to use a different oil. Now sometime when I start it it rattles like crazy, but then stops and drives fine. It never did it before, and started immediately after the oil change. Any ideas? Its a great truck and I'm worried about the effects.....

The high mileage oil is too thick on cold start up, starving the valve train/lifters.

Drain and use the recommended viscosity oil
