2 cycle and Cetane booster

Knowing 2 cycle is for lubrication and does not boost the cetane rating should you also add a cetane booster such as Diesel Power or something similar with the 2 cycle?

Thanks, David

I have done it before. I plan to do it again as soon as soon I get some more 2 cycle oil.

DK already increases lubricity, and adds cetane. No reason for adding both IMHO.

Yeah, I usually either do one or the other, not both.

Thanks for the info, but what is the advantage over a fuel additive such as DK or something like that? I could see maybe being cheaper, but not sure. Also, how much do you add per tank?
Thanks,
Ron

Now you've peaked my interest! Tell me more, how do you like it, what did you notice about it that made a difference if anything, how long have you been using it? Thanks Walt

I don't really notice much of a difference, but i never really paid much attention. Been using it off and on for a few years. Cost around 25 for a gallon, the gallon is good for 500 gallons so I use about 8 ounces per tank (36 gallon tank) So it works out to around 2 dollars per tank. It could be freeking snake oil too! At 2 bucks a tank it can't hurt anything
