There was a post around here somewhere with pictures but I didn't find it with a few searches. Can't remember if it was here or TDS.
As far as why, some have said it causes difficulty when loading a pallet with a fork lift but I have not personally tried. I think the step is a good idea but I would rather have a flat tailgate.
Is the pole tailgate plastic even confortable to sit on since it's curved?

I've eaten many Egg McMuffins off that tailgate and my rear end has never had a problem with it. I actually like the little square pockets that are perfect for setting a drink or anything else in.
Truck is in and I have decided I am going to go with Line-X xtra color match.
I have a two tone golden bronze KR and the bed rail caps and bumper caps are a darker tan than the pale adobe. At first I was going to try and match to the darker caps. Now I am thinking just go for the pale adobe.
What do other think? Match to the caps or the two tone pale adobe?
Does anyone have the color codes for the pale adobe and or the bed rail caps?
I personally think color matching to the main body color looks really good - the adobe might be awfully bright. I'm not sure about how they hold up. In the past the colors used to fade but I think they have perfected alot of that. I'm sure there are people on here that have experience with the colors. My trucks have lately been black, so it haven't tried it myself.
I'm also in favor of matching the main body color. I would think matching the golden bronze in your case would look sharp. In my case, I plan to match the Royal Red. Don't forget to post some pics after you get it done!
