Steve,
Pastmaster said you were the instrument cluster guru. How do you get the security lamp to flash on a 94 F-150 that didn't have the keyless entry/security system. Pastmaster thought it was something easy to do. Can you help with this?

If you don't have RKE/Anti-Theft, then you don't have a bulb TO flash. You'd have to put a bulb in the instrument cluster and wire it up. Are you trying to make people THINK you have factory anti-theft?
The keyless entry system doesn't have an indicator lamp, but the theft system lamp will flash its lamp if you turn the key from RUN to OFF and open the driver's door. After the doors are locked, it stays on for 30sec and then goes off.

Yeah,
Just thinking it'd be neat to wire up. If it was easy to do. I guess it would be on normally, not flash since the other anti-theft components won't be installed.
