I am in the middle of putting together a '77 F250 from the frame up. The frame has been sandblasted and painted, the 460 has been built, 44/60 axles are rebuilt, NP435 rebuilt, NP205 rebuilt, Centerforce Dual Friction clutch installed with everything listed above. Now the hard part, wiring the 460 and cab and all the little tedious things that go with a project like this! I will probably be asking alot of questions so please try to help me out and understand that I'm not trying to sound rediculous even though I probably will.
I'm sure everyone here won't mind because old ford trucks is are passion, that's why were here. Sounds like your going to have one chevy eatin machine. Build on.
Welcome to the forum. You'll find the people here have answers for almost any question. It's a great resource.
Take some time and browse through the older posts here and don't forget to try the search function. Many common problems with these old Fords have been addressed in the past.
What year motor is your 460 and is it internally or externally balanced? what flywheel and which part# clutch did you use? The reason I ask is I may have to replace my L&L clutch and would rather get a centerforce if I can squeeze it in.
Thanks
