backup camera on upfitter

anyone know how to hook up the back up camera to an upfitter switch so it can be used on demand instead of just reverse. why o why wouldn't ford have offered it this way.

it's more complicated than that, especially if you have the nav unit. The "fod lockpick" can make this happen for you, though.

Mine displays in the rear-view mirror (didn't get the nav unit), and I'd love to find a way to have the camera active on demand, thru an upfitter switch.
