I went to the parts store to get a new clutch, pressure plate and throw out bearing. They said there it could have 2 diif. sizes in it.A 10" and a 11" but he told me I would have to tear it down to find out which one mine was??? Are they any way I can get the size of it with out tearing it down first, are they a number on it somewhere that will tell me???.......Coldsteel
Depending on the engine you have and the year, it is possible you could have a flywheel that is tapped for both sizes, mine was (out of an 80 with the 300/6).
In which case I would go with the 11 incher because it gives you roughly 32.97 square inches of more friction/clamping area for better drive train engagement.
Open it up and find out. When I did my clutch, I changed the everything. I installed a 10" Centerforce Dual Friction clutch kit and the throw out bearing and a new flywheel. Clutch holds like theres no tomorrow!! Highly recommended!
